My passion for capturing the everyday moments, was passed on to me by my father; his love for photography is definitely in my blood. This passion has developed into a need to preserve these moments for my children. The problem for me with preserving these moments was I have never really enjoyed paper!! Thus I would never have survived as a paper-scrapper; too much fussing, cutting, gluing and such. So when I discovered digital scrapping in Feb 2005, I was in creative outlet heaven.
I have tried my hand at arts and crafts before. A winter full of Saturday morning trips to the local Farmers Market with my best friend, after spending hours in the craft stores buying up plastic cats, swans, and corn husk angels. Out of these supplies, we created some of the tackiest “hodge podge” items I think the world has ever seen, but we thought we were going to make it big!! OH BOY!! The cornhusk angels were the best selling items. We decorated them with lovely pieces of lace and dried flower. I actually still have one of those early creations that I drag out every year at Christmas to adorn the top of our Christmas tree.
Today, I spend my time capturing the everyday moments of my girls in their day to day lives. One thing I have learned in the past almost 16 years of being a mother, is how quickly they grow up on us. Something that I struggle with on a daily basis as each one of them reaches a new level in their own personal development. I never want to forget any of those little daily moments.
My hope is to be able to share that same preservation with YOU by preparing those daily moments to have and cherish for a lifetime, as well as for the next generation. Let me help you turn your every day moments into a lifetime of memories for generations to come.
Sincerely,
